The NBA 2K13 launch party took place last night in NYC. The star studded event was held at Jay-z’s 40/40 club, which makes perfect sense, being that Jay is the executive producer of the popular video game franchise. Celebs like Nas, Tyson Beckford, Talib Kweli, Bow Wow and more attended the event. The guest list also included NBA’s notable ballers, like Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Tyreke Evens, and the Brooklyn Nets’ Kris Humphries and Brooke Lopez. Rapper Meek Mill hit the stage and performed cuts off of his Dreamchasers mixtape series and MMG’S Self Made compilation album. Ladies please make note; NBA 2K13 arrives in stores Oct 2nd!! Let the men enjoy their game!!-Go paint your nails or something..lol

Shoe Gods Giuseppe Zanotti has designed yet another AMAZING shoe for Kanye West, this one to coincide with the launch of G.O.O.D. Music‘s Cruel Summer. The porcelain wreath/Grecian statue elements compliment the albums artwork extremely well.

Brooklyn Nets Cheerleaders Uniforms Unveiled: Inspired By “Street Fashion”

Forget colorful pompons and bright hair ribbons — black and “stretch leatherette” is the tough and sexy look for the Brooklynette dancers, who will perform during halftime at the Barclays Center to cheer on the Brooklyn Nets.

“The uniforms are feminine and strong,” said the costumes’ designer, David Dalrymple, who has worked with fashion icon Patricia Field for decades, collaborating on costumes for “Sex and the City” and “The Devil Wears Prada.”

Instead of hair scrunchies, the Brooklynettes have boots, studded fingerless gloves, zippers and latex.

“This isn’t palm trees and sunshine. It’s New York City, and it’s Brooklyn. It’s a different sensibility. We go hard,” the designer said.

Dalrymple, 45, had designed the red and blue costumes for the Nets dancers in New Jersey and was hired to give the outfits an edgy makeover to commemorate the team’s move to Brooklyn.

“They had an empty closet we had to fill,” he said.

The Brooklynettes collection consists of seven full costumes.

“They have a jumpsuit, a neoprene scuba blazer with sequin leggings, a little cropped warm-up jacket, and painted sequin leggings,” Dalrymple said.

The squad of 20 dancers will debut its wardrobe when the Nets preseason begins next month. The Nets regular-season opener, against the Knicks, is at the Barclays Center on Nov. 1.

“I do a lot of clothes for people in music,” said Dalrymple, who has designed costumes for Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige as well as the famous nude diamond-adorned body suit Britney Spears wore on stage at the MTV Music Awards in 2000.

“My look is very pop star, or for the person who feels like a pop star,” he said.

“For these costumes, we needed things that these women can dance and move in, but we wanted to bring in street elements. We needed to find that bridge of street fashion that can actually work on the court.”

Someone is all woman now!!!!!! Former Nickelodeon kid Miley Cyrus attended the iHeart Radio Music Festival at the MDGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas. First let me say, YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS for that banging hair cut Miley C...But this outfit? Let's talk about it!!! She wore a black cropped top, metallic pencil skirt, a leopard print Moschino logo belt, leopard pumps, and gold jewelry. The look is very bold, but there is something I'm not feeling about the skirt! Maybe the fit, it appears to be slightly baggy at the top. I think a mini would have looked better. What do you think about Miley's statement look? Is it Rockin or NOT?

The power girl kicked off her 25th birthday celebration in NYC partying with family and friends!! She rocked a black lace zipper gown, which she co-designed with Edwing D’Angelo. She tweeted; "So happy everyone loves my birthday dress. Super proud! I actually sketched it out and seen it come to life!! #DesignerLife ♥. " Grown and sexy right?
