Essence Magazine has selected Queen Latifah to be the cover girl for thier first issue of the year. Something looks pretty darn odd about tifah’s face...hmmmm! I can't put my finger on it, but hopefully The Queen isn't getting her mike jackson(r.i.p) on!!! The January issue of ESSENCE hits newsstands on December 12th. more

Meet “Raquel”: Denise Vasi to Replace Stacey Dash on ‘Single Ladies’

The beautiful soap opera star, Denise Vasi, will be playing the role of "Raquel" on the upcoming season of "Single Ladies" If you’re unfamiliar with Vasi she starred on the ABC show, "All My Children," for a couple of years before it went off air. She will be replacing Stacey Dash who played the role of "Val" on the show. Vasi will star opposite Lisa Raye-McCoy and Charity Shea. The three women will navigate the highs and lows of love and relationships in the city of Atlanta. Vh1’s EVP of original production and programming Jeff Olde stated “It was a rare and wonderful moment during the audition when everyone in the room immediately knew we had found our “Raquel.” He continued on by saying “Denise’s beauty, style, grace and humor leap from the screen.” Will you be watching the season premiere of 'Single Ladies?

Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded coming Valentine’s Day. If you haven't heard the track "Roman In Moscow" check it out here. I personally didn't care for it, it sounds like she is "playing" in the studio.
