Rapper T.I teams up with best-selling author,David Ritz to present to us his first fiction novel, Power & Beauty: A Love Story of Life on the Streets. The novel is about the life of a young man who lost his mother and turns to the streets for guidance. On the search to find himself through drugs and the streets of New York and Miami, he finds a woman, Beauty, that makes him want to change. T.I. will be released from US Penitentiary in Atlanta on September 29. Power & Beauty hits stores shelves on October 18. Fans can pre-order the book on Amazon now.

Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj sat front row along side Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, at Carolina Herrera’s Spring 2012 runway show. The net began to buzz about her outfit of choice, which had been a bright neon dress covered in what many describe as gumballs. However it turns out those “gumballs” were actually “puff balls” and the design was a rip off from a young designer named Jessica Rogers. Rogers is only 21, and burst into tears when she came across pictures of Nicki Minaj at the show. Rogers said. “I’ve worked very hard to make my dream of being a fashion designer come true. I have built contacts with Teen Vogue, Gaga, Katy Perry, and Marina and the Diamonds has worn my garments. [Now,] I feel like everything has crumbled down.” Poor girl. Perry who turned 42 yesterday (happy belated bday) ranked no. 1 on Forbes‘ Highest-Paid Men In Entertainment with $130 million in earnings from May 2010 to May 2011. Now that's what you call from "Nothing to Something". GOD is real. Congrats Mr. Perry. more
