I always look forward to seeing the cover of Complex Magazine. Their Creative dept, rocks! To me this cover brings attention to the growth of the artist Justin Bieber, clearly he is no longer the lil biebs that made us catch bieber fever. The cover also represents the blood, sweat, and tears the magazine may have experienced to remain in the publication game. To be here 10 years later is a big accomplishment. Being that so many great Magazines have come and gone. What do you think of the cover? more

Another WIN for Nicki Minaj!!! According to Forbes the YMCMB Princess has inked a multimillion-dollar deal with the Pepsi Brand. That is MAJOR! Derek Jackson, the Glu agency chief who brokered the agreement, tells Forbes that Minaj will become the face of a new Pepsi beverage nearing its debut. He said the pact, which includes a commercial filmed in South America last month (pixely footage has already leakedon YouTube), is a multimillion-dollar deal.

“You’ll see the commercial probably in the next two months,” Jackson told me before Lil Wayne’s performance at South By Southwest. “That’ll be a segue into a new beverage Pepsi has, called ‘Pop,’ and she’ll be the face of the brand … it’s going to be explosive.”

The pact was one of two major partnerships between Pepsi and Cash Money / Young Money artists garnering significant attention in Austin. Lil Wayne debuted his DEWeezy campaign with Pepsi’s Mountain Dew, also negotiated by Jackson, at his South By Southwest showcase.

Like Minaj’s, terms of Wayne’s agreement weren’t officially disclosed, but Jackson told me that it was a seven-figure commitment as well. Wayne’s deal also includes an option that would result in Pepsi and Mountain Dew bankrolling an original film featuring the diminutive rapper.

Though both artists are signed to Cash Money / Young Money, the label’s marquee acts aren’t exclusive to Pepsi. Drake, who joined Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj on last year’s Cash Kings list, shills for Coca-Cola’s Sprite.

Rihanna stopped by the Ryan Seacrest show and discussed the collaboration stating he is simply "the hottest R&B artist out right now". She went on to say "There shouldn't be a divide, you know?" she said. "It's music and it's innocent."

Roc-A-Fella Records Co-Founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke Pleads Guilty To Federal Drug Charges

Damnnnnn....smh!! How did this happen? You see the title of this post right? "Co-Founder"of Roc-A-Fella but yet I am posting about how he caught federal drug charges?!? Yesterday Kareem “Biggs” Burke appeared in court and admitted to his federal drug charges including conspiracy and intent to distribute over 100 kilograms of Marijuana. As part of the plea deal, “Biggs” forfeited $660k, $15k seized cash, his 2010 BMW and home.
As part of an 18-month investigation, Biggs’ New Bergen, NJ home was raided in October 2010 and was among the 50 individuals arrested for their drug trafficking operation that stretched from Florida to New York. Burke will be sentenced on May 18 facing a minimum of 5 years, but up to 40 years in prison. Hold ya head Biggs! more

The pop icon presents to the world “Truth or Dare.” The packaging for this perfume caught my attention instantly. Maybe it’s because I am head over hills in LOVE with the color combination of White and Gold. Now on to smell, Truth or Dare is a blend of florals, vanilla, and caramelized amber. I would surely have to stop by Macy's and sample this fragrance. I prefer light, sweet, clean scents. I always test the perfume; wear it for a whole day to ensure it compliments my PH. If I still smell like water by the end of the day, It’s a GO! Being that I would hate to tell someone I am wearing “Truth or Dare” and they respond back with “Truth is it stinks.” YIKES. Anyway the fragrance will be available for pre-order at Macy's, the line ranges from $24 for shower gel to $68 for the largest eau de perfume. Head inside to see the additional bottles. more
