MAC Cosmetics has announced that next summer they'll be releasing a brand new collection inspired by R&B star Aaliyah. I know Aaliyah's fans are going crazy being that today is the eve of the singer's death and they went super hard, creating a petition and all to make this happen.

On June 20th, 2017 rapper Prodigy, one half of the legendary hip-hop group Mobb Deep died at the age of 42. Everyone was really shocked and even thought his death was due to his battle with Sickle Cell Anemia.

His cause of death has yet to be confirmed, however its being reported that Prodigy had been hospitalized for complications caused by sickle cell anemia. P you will truly be missed. Today Comedic Actor Charlie Murphy, also the older brother of Eddie Murphy, passed away at the age of 57.

It was reported by TMZ that Charlie died from leukemia Wednesday morning in a NYC hospital. His manager stated that he'd been going undergoing chemotherapy. His death shocked the family because they thought he was getting better.

Charlie famously co-starred on "Chappelle's Show" in some of Dave's most memorable skits ... including the nights Charlie partied with Rick James and Prince.

Charlie also co-wrote some of Eddie Murphy's movies, like "Norbit" and "Vampire in Brooklyn." He co-starred in "Are We There Yet?," "The Boondocks" and "Black Jesus."
He recently toured with Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, George Lopez and D.L. Hughley on "The Comedy Get Down."

Charlie's wife, Tisha Taylor Murphy, died in 2009 from cervical cancer. They had 2 children, and he had another from a previous relationship.

TMZ reports WorldStarHipHop founder Lee "Q" O'Denat has died:

We're told Q, the face and CEO of WorldStar, died in his sleep Monday night.
Q founded the premiere hip-hop website in 2005 when he started posting mixtapes, which gradually progressed into a mash-up of hip-hop videos, fight clips and other outrageous camera footage.
An autopsy is scheduled for later Tuesday ... although one source tells us Q died of a heart attack.
He was 43.

UPDATE: Damn. Rip Tommy. It has now been confirmed that Actor Thomas Mikal Ford has passed away at the age of 52.

If you watched the hilarious sitcom Martin in the late 90's you remember Tommy. Actor Thomas Mikal Ford played one of Martin's three best friends. He would often portray himself as a ladies' man and would flirt with Pam and other women on the show. His mysterious employment status was a running gag on the show and still is to this day.

Another legend has passed away. Last month it was Prince, this month it's Muhammad Ali.

Muhammad Ali born, Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr., died on Friday June 3rd at a Phoenix hospital. He was hospitalized a few days ago due to respiratory complications. When I saw other media outlets report that he was on life support, I knew the end was near. He was 74.

The tragic murder of the 6-month-old baby that was shot to death in Chicago has moved Chi-town rapper Lupe Fiasco to express his condolences through song.
