But I will say if you’ve listen to Jay then I am sure you’ve heard his name shouted out over a track. However we still have those living under a rock so I will put you on. Young Guru is the legendary in house engineer for Jay-Z (roc-a-fella/rocnation) since 1999. Behind every rap megastar, there’s a very talented engineer and Young Guru is that for sure. Guru sits with Allindstrom.com in part one of their “It’s In The Name: Young Guru” interview. Guru breaks down his non-contractual relationship with Jay-Z and how working on Watch The Throne was a totally different experience for him.
