Rapper Lil Wayne has the most nominations for the BET Hip-Hop Awards for 2011. His 18 nominations include MVP of the Year, Best Live Performer and Hustler of the Year.
Lil Wayne's album "Tha Carter IV" debuted Aug. 29 at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 charts, selling 964,000 for the second-best first-week sales of the year behind Lady Gaga.

Yesssss!!!! It’s no longer a rumor!! I can’t stop smiling. I am so happy to post about Eddie Murphy being selected to host the Oscars next year. He is one of my favorite comedians of all time. Brett Ratner said “[He] is a comedic genius, one of the greatest and most influential live performers ever. With his love of movies, history of crafting unforgettable characters and his iconic performances -- especially onstage -- I know he will bring an excitement, spontaneity and tremendous heart to the show," Congrats to you Eddie! According to the streets, Oscar producer Brett Ratner has Eddie Murphy as a top pick to host the Oscars in 2012!!! Now that would be major for Eddie! In the last few months, the producer has been approached with several names for possible hosts but Murphy seems to be his top pick, a source close to the Oscars tells Deadline.com. I really hope this is true. And Eddie please keep it clean! You know you can get a little raw. Good Luck!

08/29/2011 • From Beyonce's belly revealing performance to Gaga dressed in drag. The VMA's 2011 were pretty solid this year. Chris Brown gave an air flying performance. Nicki Minaj arrived on the red carpet rocking a medical mask as if she had SARS*side eye*! And speaking of medical, the up and coming talented artist Jessie J performed in a medical boot all night long. I LMAO the whole night! She even had bedazzled crutches. But that takes nothing away from her voice which is amazing. Like I mentioned before on a pervious post Jayz and Kanye West performed "Otis". I loved it.
