I know you remember back in the day the fellas use to rock the hell out of their authentic basketball jerseys! Lol. And as soon as it "wasn't cool" anymore they put them away. What did they do with all those damn jerseys!?! I mean every dude had at least 3 or more! Lol. With the matching sneakers and all. Don't worry...they aren't back in style yet. But I have spotted a few fashionistas rocking football jersey dresses...and look fab too! I personally love the trend...not sure how much it will catch on...but whatever. We do what we want when it comes to style, right!?! I didn't style any basketball jerseys but these are more of a football jersey style. I think this trend is so much fun because you can be sporty and chic! Its the perfect combination that will make your outfit go from ordinary to BAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMM! LOL. I've style a few looks for you below to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
Now tell us...would you rock a jersey like this?

Jay-Z Explains Reason for Selling Brooklyn Nets Stake

Jay-Z Explains Reason for Selling Brooklyn Nets Stake

Now that Jay-Z has entered the sports agency game, he can't also be an NBA owner if he wants to represent professional basketball players. In a letter on his website Life and Times, the rapper clarified why he's selling his stake in the Brooklyn Nets. His newly launched sports agency, Roc Nation Sports, signed New York Yankees all-star Robinson Cano as its first client earlier this month. Representing an MLB player isn't against NBA rules, but Jay-Z would be unable to represent an NBA player while being an owner in the league. By selling off his shares, he can court basketball players as clients.
"Our newest endeavor is committed to building the brands of professional athletes as we have done for some of today's top music artists," Jay-Z wrote. "For Roc Nation Sports to function at its full potential, NBA rules stipulate that I relinquish my ownership in the Brooklyn Nets."
Jay-Z was the most visible figure in the investment group that brought the Nets from New Jersey to his native Brooklyn, and was active in the marketing and launch of the team this past season. But according to Forbes, his stake in the $530 million team shrank from 1.5 percent to less than one percent, with an estimated value of about $350,000.
Still, Jay-Z said it wasn't about business, but rather about his love for his borough. "It was never about an investment; it was about the Nets and Brooklyn. My job as an owner is over but as a fan it has just begun," Jay-Z wrote, thanking the team's owner, Mikhail Prokhorov, and others. "A thank you and deepest appreciation goes to the fans. You are the lifeblood of any team."
Jay-Z's stake already has a taker: Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who lives in Brooklyn, is interested in becoming a Nets minority owner. "I have tried to make as many public and private overtures as I can to let Hova know that I would absolutely be honored to buy those shares," Ohanian said on Bloomberg's "Money Moves," as noted by SB Nation's Nets Daily. He even joked on Reddit that he'd make all the players participate in the site's popular Ask Me Anything (AMA) series.

    According to Nydailynews
Multiple sources confirm that New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is this close to inking an entertainment management deal with Jay-Z and his company Roc Nation.
One insider says the contract between the 25-year-old football stud and his rap royalty pal is "a done deal" while another says "it's just about there," adding excitedly "there's no turning back now!"
The partnership, according to an insider, will give Jay-Z control of securing Cruz's entertainment deals and fattening up his resume away from the sports industry. But that's not where the buck ends. "I wouldn't rule out him working on a record down the line," says the source, adding that with Jay-Z at the helm, Cruz, known for his sassy salsa endzone dancing, could "snap his fingers and be on a famous artist's single like that." Roc Nation currently represents Rihanna, Willow Smith, Rita Ora, MIA and Mark Ronson, among others.
Cruz, a Giants fan favorite who turned down an offer on "Dancing With the Stars" last winter, announced in February he had signed with IMG Worldwide to negotiate his sports marketing and endorsement agreements. While Cruz is still under contract with IMG, the source says Jay-Z will focus more on the entertainment side – like he does with the other athlete recently signed to Roc Nation, skateboarder Theotis Beasley.
Since signing on with Jay-Z's company in May, Beasley has already appeared in a music video for Jaden Smith, the son of Jay-Z's pal, Will Smith.
A glaring difference between Beasley and Cruz however, is that the skateboarder has yet to meet Jay-Z. Meanwhile, the rapper and Super Bowl champ have been spotted on numerous occasions palling around together; as recently as last month at Meek Mill's exclusive "Dreams and Nightmares" album listening party in New York City.
Two of my FAVORITE men..I'm smiling SOOOO hard!!!

The Net Is Buzzin: Beyonce To Perform At Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show

The Net Is Buzzin: Beyonce To Perform At Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show

Everyone is always eager to learn which artist will rock the stage during the Super Bowl halftime show. Last year Madonna turned it out with her 50 year old self. But this coming year it's being reported that mega star Queen Bey will be turning the stage out for Super Bowl XLVII.
    According to MTV
Although the official announcement from B's camp isn't expected until Wednesday, a source has confirmed to the Associated Press that Mrs. Carter will perform at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show, scheduled for February 3, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
No word yet on whether there will be guest appearances during her set. MTV News' calls to Beyoncé's camp were not returned by press time.
This year's Super Bowl included a blowout performance from Madonna, with guests Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo, LMFAO and M.I.A., who caused uproar by flipping the bird while onstage. We're pretty sure B will keep things PG.
This will mark Beyoncé's first halftime performance, but she did sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004 in her native Houston, when the New England Patriots took on and defeated the Carolina Panthers.
Her most recent performance was at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where she joined Jay-Z for his final show after an eight-night run.
This is the ONLY time I look forward to watching a football game!! SUPER BOWL TIME BABY!!

Brooklyn Nets Cheerleaders Uniforms Unveiled: Inspired By “Street Fashion”

Forget colorful pompons and bright hair ribbons — black and “stretch leatherette” is the tough and sexy look for the Brooklynette dancers, who will perform during halftime at the Barclays Center to cheer on the Brooklyn Nets.
“The uniforms are feminine and strong,” said the costumes’ designer, David Dalrymple, who has worked with fashion icon Patricia Field for decades, collaborating on costumes for “Sex and the City” and “The Devil Wears Prada.”
Instead of hair scrunchies, the Brooklynettes have boots, studded fingerless gloves, zippers and latex.
“This isn’t palm trees and sunshine. It’s New York City, and it’s Brooklyn. It’s a different sensibility. We go hard,” the designer said.
Dalrymple, 45, had designed the red and blue costumes for the Nets dancers in New Jersey and was hired to give the outfits an edgy makeover to commemorate the team’s move to Brooklyn.
“They had an empty closet we had to fill,” he said.
The Brooklynettes collection consists of seven full costumes.
“They have a jumpsuit, a neoprene scuba blazer with sequin leggings, a little cropped warm-up jacket, and painted sequin leggings,” Dalrymple said.
The squad of 20 dancers will debut its wardrobe when the Nets preseason begins next month. The Nets regular-season opener, against the Knicks, is at the Barclays Center on Nov. 1.
“I do a lot of clothes for people in music,” said Dalrymple, who has designed costumes for Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige as well as the famous nude diamond-adorned body suit Britney Spears wore on stage at the MTV Music Awards in 2000.
“My look is very pop star, or for the person who feels like a pop star,” he said.
“For these costumes, we needed things that these women can dance and move in, but we wanted to bring in street elements. We needed to find that bridge of street fashion that can actually work on the court.”
Well alright!!! I'm not feeling these uniforms at all!! Good & Hood came to mind when I first saw the pictures. But hey it's a Brooklyn thing, it may take some getting use to!! Are You Feeling Them?

New York Knicks Power Forward and fire extinguisher fighter, Amar’e Stoudemire is going into the fashion business! After kicking it front row with the HFBINC Anna Wintour and collaborated on a collection with Rachel Roy, Amar’e Stoudemire is now launching his own clothing for men!
At yesterday’s Calvin Klein event in Milan, Stoudemire told WWD that he was working on a men’s fashion line. He didn’t share any details on the new project but implied that he was working with a partner on it. Hopefully this “partner” will be a dope designer, because I mean Amar’e is NO kanye with the style. So I wouldn’t recommend him doing this here fashion thing with a family friend that doesn’t know their stuff!!. Fellas are you eager to see what the ball player has in store?
