The R&B singer has signed with Wilhelmina International, becoming the latest star to nab a modeling contract with the agency that reps stars like Fergie and Natasha Bedingfield.

"Art and style has always played a significant role in my life," Brown told Women's Wear Daily. "I'm so happy to join the Wilhelmina team, which has countless successes in the industry, to explore this new avenue."

Taylor Hendrich, director of Wilhelmina Men, shares Brown's optimism for the new relationship, telling WWD that his company is "excited to translate and extend [Brown's] brand."
Brown is already turning heads in the fashion world. The R&B singer revealed his latest venture -- an urban line of street wear through his new wardrobe brand, Black Pyramid -- in Los Angeles last week.

Jay-Z is BROOKLYN, and he proved that last night!! SC held down the show solo, but brought out hip-hop legend Big Daddy Kane to join him on stage. That was a good look especially since Kane played a major role in the start of his music career. You know Jay had to rep for his brother Frank White aka B.I.G which was pretty awesome! As I watched I felt BIG's presence, I'm sure he was smiling in heaven- "Like We Did It Brooklyn". Hovie baby also blessed the crowd with a new verse spitting;

Jay-Z's whirlwind through Brooklyn continues. In the same week that the Barclays Center opens to the public, Hov unlocked the doors to his brand new 40/40 Club for the first time on Thursday night.

The new 40/40, located in the sprawling confines of the Barclays is a unique twist on the Manhattan flagship location. The ambiance is the same, but the new digs are tailor-made for the arena with the Brooklyn Nets hardwood in full view for club patrons.

"I walked around here earlier and I just seen everybody busy and at work trying to finish up and it was a great feeling," Jay-Z told gathering press as he entered the 40/40 for its grand opening. "A guy stopped me in the hallway and said, 'Man this is a great thing for New York City." And that's what the whole thing was about."

Rihanna, Angie Martinez, QuestLove and Hov's close friends and family all attended the first party at the eye-popping club. The opening comes just a night before Jigga will christen the Barclays with an inaugural performance on Friday. The multiplatinum rap star will follow with seven more shows.

The Barclays features 101 luxury suites, four bars and lounge destinations, three clubs and of course Jay-Z's 40/40 Club and Restaurant. There will be eight retail shops as well. In the coming months, the multi-billion dollar complex will not only house the Nets, but also open its doors to an array of artists like Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Green Day and Barbra Streisand. College basketball and boxing events will also bring fans through the door. Not since Ebbets Field, the Major League park which the Dodgers called home until they moved to Los Angeles in the late 1950's, has Brooklyn had an entertainment complex of this magnitude.
Swizz Beatz Named Global Ambassador For NYC Health & Hospitals Corp

Swizz Beatz is proving to be a jack of many trades. he's been appointed as the Global Ambassador for New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, according to BET.
"Swizz Beatz" is committed to using his creativity, his innovation, and his international stature to help spread the HHC message on a global scale to promote better health in our city and our world," said Joe Schick, the Executive Director of the Fund for HHC.
Swizz will help the HHC raise funds and spread awareness about the relationship between the arts and therapeutic healing. On September 27, there will be a special fundraising event at 7 p.m. at the Harlem Hospital Center in honor of the music mogul. He will officially begin his role that evening.

I am super happy and completely inspired by Terrence Jenkins aka Terrence J from 106 & Park. This man’s grind and story of success is motivating. In May of this year it was announced that Rosci and Terrence J time as the hosts of 106 & Park would be coming to an end.

Then word hit the streets that Terrence J landed a job with ET!! It’s being reported that the 30-year old host will be a contributor on the show Entertainment Tonight and that ‘ET’ is “very supportive of him pursuing his acting career.” Wow, awesome! Congrats Terrence j!
