On 9/11/2001 my emotions were all over the place. My favorite rapper of all time had just presented the world with a masterpiece titled “The Blueprint”. I was on cloud nine, attempting to learn all the lyrics. But yet, while blasting the music, my roommate ran in the room screaming, the towers, the towers!!! Rapper Lil Wayne has the most nominations for the BET Hip-Hop Awards for 2011. His 18 nominations include MVP of the Year, Best Live Performer and Hustler of the Year.
Lil Wayne's album "Tha Carter IV" debuted Aug. 29 at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 charts, selling 964,000 for the second-best first-week sales of the year behind Lady Gaga.

Word on the street is that Megan Good may be replacing Stacy Dash who will not be returning for a second season of VH1’s "Single Ladies." Although I didn't follow the show that heavy. When I did tune in, the show was rather decent. I can definitely see Good playing the character of Valerie Stoke. Good has way more sex appeal than Dash yet both are beautiful women. No official word has been released by the Queen, VH1 or the creator/writer Stacy. A. Littlejohn. According to the streets, Oscar producer Brett Ratner has Eddie Murphy as a top pick to host the Oscars in 2012!!! Now that would be major for Eddie! In the last few months, the producer has been approached with several names for possible hosts but Murphy seems to be his top pick, a source close to the Oscars tells Deadline.com. I really hope this is true. And Eddie please keep it clean! You know you can get a little raw. Good Luck!

“Carter IV” Breaks iTunes Album Sale Records

Last week “Carter IV” was digitally released and within the first four days of it being online, it managed to sale over 300,000 records via iTunes. This breaks an iTunes single week record as well as surpasses Jay-Z and Kanye‘s “Watch The Throne” album which moved around 290,000.
The official first week sales ended tonight at midnight, but the official numbers for the album will not be provided until Wednesday. Word on the street is the album is on pace to sell between 800-850 thousand, which is both the digital and physical copies both added together. Hmmmmm.. All I will say is Shout out to Baby. A parent/God parent will do anything to make sure their child comes out on top.
