The popular saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it" heavily applies to the "rebranding" of the luxury brand Yves Saint Laurent. Back in June YSL director Hedi Slimane announced that YSL would be undergoing a name change - from Yves Saint Laurent to Saint Laurent Paris. On Monday the first images hit the net via twitter and hunnie this "new" look is PRETTY whack!

Yes I am all for change but the name should have remained "Yves Saint Laurent", but I get it Paris is POPPIN right now so you all want in on the hype...smdh. Anywho- the brand will continue to use the iconic overlapping YSL logo, and the rebranding will only apply to ready-to-wear, with the house's official moniker remaining as Yves Saint Laurent. Are you feeling the change?

The complete collection will be available December 1st, but don't worry my little shop-a-holics, a preview of the items will be released on October 16th!

So how do you feel about Ombre nails? The French word Ombré means "shaded," and in fashion it refers to pretty much anything that starts out one color and then slowly morphs into another. I think it adds a little flavor to the standard manicure. If you’re a live in living color chick the style above would probably be something you would rock. If you prefer a clean nail instead of color, the style below would add a cool spin to your traditional French mani. So would YOU ROCK?
