How do you feel about jammies during the day? I consider myself pretty fashion forward but this was one trend that had to grow on me. Just so we are clear I'm talking silky, Clair Huxtable, a little too fly to sleep in jammies. Rihanna attended the ‘Battleship’ premiere at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Japan wearing the silk pajama-style look from Emilio Pucci‘s Fall 2012 collection and tan strappy sandals. I also remember seeing Rachel Roy rocking said pjs on the red carpet at some Hollywood movie premiere last year as well. Although there was an air of wrongness there was definitely something there I liked. Now as I see designers continue to incorporate "the pajama look" into their RTW and Resort lines I don't know why it took me so long to fall in love with this look. It's quintessential "comfortable chic". I'm absolutely a convert and I WILL be rocking PJs this spring! What are your thoughts on this look? ROCK or NOT? Yes we ALL know when Beyonce' brings it..she BRINGS IT!!! So this isn't a post about her rep as a fashionista, because we love her style. However this post is about the recent fits she has been rocking since becoming a mother to Blue Ivy! Which brings me to exhibit A...Ayoooo BEY..what's reallllly good with this "It's A Different World" inspired look you have going on? Loafers, boyfriend blazer, wacky trousers and Dwayne Wayne shades? I surely thought you would show these chicks how to style with a child...Not saying you must rock heels all day, but just look done a bit more. Oh and I am sure your fit cost way more than my whole life..lol...so NO shade...just concerned...on some "girl you ok?" ish. I couldn't have been more excited after hearing that Bravo has intentions of airing the tentatively titled Fashion Stories of NYC — featuring Mr. André Leon Talley for its fall lineup! The former Vogue Editor-at-Large, who has coined such words as "Dreckitude" is back in the reality TV world (he recently departed from America's Next Top Model). His role is slated to be that of a mentor. According to Bravo TV:

"We follow four up-and-coming fashion design teams as they produce the defining collection of their careers, all under the watchful eye of fashion icon Andre Leon Talley. The mission to “create, show and sell” is clear for emerging designers striving to build a business in New York City, which remains the heart of the fashion industry."

The premise of the show seems simple enough and it really doesn't stray too far from the prime time fashion shows out now (A pinch of Project Runway, a dash of Fashion Star...). With ALT at the helm I'm excited and hopeful that this show will be another classic. Thoughts? Who'll be watching with me?

Now if she aint a HOT girl then what do you call that? She then cleaned up nicely to do a photcall for the movie she'll be starring in Battleship.During press time Rihanna got a reporter together real quick after she asked her:
'You're so good at connecting with people that I think that we actually feel we know you. Things are clearly going brilliantly in your career. I just wondered if you are as happy in your private life, and will we see a certain Mr. Ashton Kutcher perhaps making a trip over here?'

Vogue.It takes us inside her wardrobe, a room she cleverly converted into a closet. Even with fashion lust in my heart I enjoyed this video immensely. I'm not in love with all of Cassie's style choices but I absolutely love her sense of style. Clearly Vogue.It agrees, she is just one of the many fashionable New Yorkers (Although she is originally from Conneticut) they are interviewing for this segment. The beautiful June Ambrose was on the Wendy William's show Monday promoting her show, Styled by June. In the pic above she is seen wearing a Vera Wang Printed Satin Dress, Hermes Birkin bag in Chocolate Brown and Giuseppe Zanotti High Platform Bow Sandal in Creta. June has been in the fashion biz for quite some time so the fact that the look above is effortless chic should be no surprise. The bright yellow on her dress goes so well with her complexion while the abstract print makes it interesting. Although Giuseppe says that her shoes are the color "Creta" they are clearly a brown girls version of nude.
