09/08/2011 • Good girl gone bad singer Rihanna is the new face of Armani Jeans. The first images of the ad for the Armani campaign have been released. Perfect timing as NYC’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week begins today, the black and white ad shows RiRi in a short blonde wig and baring her midriff. I don’t know about the pose. But she is RiRi right? The shot was taken by famed photographer Steven Klein, who did Lady Gaga‘s “Alejandro” video. The concept is based on a film noir. What do you think of RiRi’s Armani shot? more

09/07/2011 • Talk about model appreciation! Elle will release four October covers devoted to Victoria's Secret Angels Miranda Kerr, Chanel Iman, Adriana Lima, and Doutzen Kroes. I love it. With pieces worn by fab designers like; Givenchy, Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, Lanvin, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, and a bondage-esque cutout Hervé Léger by Max Azria one-piece worn by Iman for her cover. I'm eager to see the spread. The October issue will be available September 20. more

09/07/2011 • We never know what to expect from the “born this way singer” Lady Gaga. On the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Oct 2011 issue. Gaga who normally is seen in the most outrageous fits and makeup, bares it all. No make-up, a more natural Lady Gaga says in the mag: “Whether I’m wearing lots of makeup or no makeup, I’m always the same person inside. 09/05/2011 • Happy Labor Day ppl. I know many have this day off and if you didn't, get the money hunnie. So Summer is over and Fall/Winter is near. I am sure you and your girlfriends have this debate yearly. Will you still rock white AFTER Labor Day? See fashion can be tricky, but in fashion you can do as you please. Express yourself etc. Fashion has tons of rules and faux pas, changing of trends, exceptions and scenarios. Rules are meant to be broken. Do what you like. And if they love it, they will follow. So I say rock your white. Especially if you live in a place where there is ZERO snow. Enjoy and be merry! After the retailer received some bad press last year when it told customer April Flores, who inquired about plus-size items, “That’s not our demographic.” They reconsidered and now will offer size XL(12/14). To introduce the new, size 12, American Apparel is letting customers judge each other's bodies in a contest called "The Next Big Thing."
