A3C stands for [All 3 Coasts]. The Festival & Conference is the preeminent Hip-Hop event in the US, commonly referred to as, “Hip-Hop’s family reunion” and held annually in Atlanta, GA

Nas, Ghostface Killah, Just Blaze and upstart MCs Joyner Lucas, SABA, Kirk Knight and Jay IDK will perform at the fest on Oct. 8 at the Georgia Freight Depot.

The two days of performances begin Oct. 7; the 13th annual A3C Festival and Conference, which includes more than 1,500 artists, producers and industry experts leading panels and presentations, will take place throughout Atlanta Oct. 4-8.

Over the weekend Jay- Z appeared on the season premiere of SNL as the musical guest. The rap legend hit the stage rocking the jersey of Colin Kapernick. In 2016, Kaepernick gained nationwide attention when he began protesting by not standing while the United States national anthem was being played before the start of games, motivated by what he viewed as the oppression of people of color in the United States. Tonight (June 15), prolific MC Jay Z will become the first rapper to be inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The Brooklyn wordsmith will join the likes of Burt Bacharach, Duke Ellington, Ira Gershwin, John Lennon, Elton John, and Lionel Richie, after being handpicked by his peers.

Birdman Responds To Rick Ross “Idols Become Rivals” Track: ‘I Don’t Get Caught Up in Hoe Sh*t’

Rick Ross dropped his 9th studio album Rather You Than Me today and the whole album is bumping. Everyone has been talking about his shots at Nicki Minaj and Birdman. One the opening track Apple Of My Eye he confesses that he told Meek Mill not to trust his ex girlfriend Nicki. Yikes! Then on the 3rd track "Idols Become Rivals" produced by black metaphor who sampled Jay Z's classic track "Where Have You Been". Ross raps about the beef between Lil Wayne and Birdman plus the bad business of Cash Money. He even rhymes about the trouble Birdman caused Dj Khaled. The track is pure FIRE! Birdman spoke to Billboard and had this to say:

"I don't get caught up in hoe sh-t, man. I just keep doing what I'm doing and keep pushing," he continued on with "I don't get caught up in that, I don't play like that. I'm a man and I stand my ground and I do my thing. Numbers don't lie, and that's all I give a f--k about: numbers, and puttin' them up."
