But I will say if you’ve listen to Jay then I am sure you’ve heard his name shouted out over a track. However we still have those living under a rock so I will put you on. Young Guru is the legendary in house engineer for Jay-Z (roc-a-fella/rocnation) since 1999. Behind every rap megastar, there’s a very talented engineer and Young Guru is that for sure. Jay-Z hosted his Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation carnival in NYC’s Pier 54. The Making The Ordinary Extraordinary event cost $1,000 a ticket and benefited the organization, which launched in 2002 to help socio-economic hardships further education at institutions of higher learning.See video and pics inside..

On 9/11/2001 my emotions were all over the place. My favorite rapper of all time had just presented the world with a masterpiece titled “The Blueprint”. I was on cloud nine, attempting to learn all the lyrics. But yet, while blasting the music, my roommate ran in the room screaming, the towers, the towers!!!
