Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey have begun clashing at "American Idol" auditions. In a new TMZ video from the Charlotte, NC auditions, Minaj erupts at Carey in a tirade of curse words.

According to TMZ, Minaj threatened to "knock out" Carey before the video started rolling. In the clip below, Randy tries to quell the blow up, but TMZ reports producers ended the auditions that day to let the judges collect themselves.

"I told them, I'm not f---in' putting up with her f---ing highness over there," Minaj says. "Figure it the f--- out. Figure it out."

But the leaked video has many questioning if it's all a set-up by producers to get viewers to tune in when the show returns in January.

The only person talking about it so far is Ryan Seacrest, who hinted at the brou-haha in a tweet: "Going to bed in Charlotte after an anything but dull day at #idol auditions."

Side eye...Nicki is an Actress..so I really think this is all for show!! 12mill on the line?...MC has way more star power than Minaj and can have her removed ASAP!!

Nicki Minaj is a mess, OMG! Lol. This chick will wear anything to keep us talking and guess what!?! It works everytime because we are talking about it right now, lol. She was recently spotted arriving to the American Idol auditions in this ummmmm...outfit. Nicki wore a white blazer, floral bralet, skinny jeans, silver jewelry, black nails, and these insane UNIF Hellbound Platform Boots ($242). I bet they are sold out now that she' rocked them. And do we have to mention her colorful wig!?! Let's not even go there. I mean I really love Nicki but her style is so crazy. Yesterday, it was announced that Nicki Minaj would be a judge on American Idol with Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban. The first round of auditions took place yesterday in New York City and Minaj showed up rocking her typical zany fit! You know her Shorts, tights and a sick shoe combo! I'm looking forward to her being a judge on idol, being that she is such a character and that mouth is out of control at times..lol!! The auditions will premiere on TV in January 2013. WATCH Nicki Minaj Perform “Starships” Live On American Idol!!
03/30/2012 • A blonde wig rocking Nicki Minaj hit up American Idol last night to perform her now top 10 single "Starships". I am never impressed by her live performances. However this performance was much better than her devil worshiping Grammy's performance. Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded will be in a store near you next Tuesday.
