BET Announces Official Nominees For The 2017 BET Awards

The 2017 BET Awards will be held on June 25, 2017, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The ceremony celebrates mass achievements in black entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies released between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017. Queen Bey is leading the pack with a total of seven nominations. Bruno Mars came out on top with five nominations, while Chance The Rapper, Solange and Migos all received four nods a piece. The Search is Finally Over!! Yesterday BET revealed the new hosts of 106 & Park. Instead of the typical twosome, BET hired four new faces to take the show to the next level. One of the hosts being Mr. 106&Park himself Bow Wow!! I knew that would eventually happen!! He always did well when he would fill in from time to time. The other 3 host include; Paigion, Shorty Da Prince, Miss Mykie. Congrats!!
Lauren London Joins “The Game”

According to TV Guide, “ATL” actress Lauren London has signed on to be a series regular, playing the role of Kiera, a former child star who now appears on a Cosby Show-style sitcom. Not sure how I feel about this. Maybe her character can bring life to the show because it's washed. IMO. Lauren confirmed the news via Twitter, saying she was “honored to be offered the role” and hopes fans continue to tune in and support the show when it returns in 2013.

I am actually glad to see her getting back to work. She also has a small recurring role on “Single Ladies.” Work is work as long as it doesn't damage your image. Get Money!!
BET’s ‘The Game’ Pulls in 5.3M Viewers
01/12/2012 • It’s Game time baby and BET's hit show “The Game” returned with great numbers!! The season five premiere pulled in an impressive 5.3M viewers on Tuesday night, according to the Los Angeles Times. Although last year when the show returned 7.7 million tuned in, but clearly fans are still hooked because 5.3 million is pretty major! Congrats to them and may they have a successful run this season. P.s it was nice to see Brandy back on the small screen. I sure do miss her Moesha show!! What did you think of season five premiere? more
