CLAP FOR HER: Gabby Douglas Joins Nike Training Club (VIDEO)

While Nike athlete Gabby Douglas’s golden smile captivated fans in London last summer, it was her toned physique and relentless dedication to training that helped the gymnastic sensation clinch two gold medals in both the team and individual all-around competitions.

Now Nike Training Club (NTC) members can train like Douglas with her “Perfect Alignment Workout,” designed specifically to get the lower body lean and toned. Her 15-minute bonus workout aims to improve overall performance whether training for the balance beam or the beach.

Not for the faint of heart, Douglas’s workout is engineered for high-caliber results and includes drills that help keep the gymnast quick, agile and aligned to maximize performance in competition. Douglas takes users through a fast series of step-up and step-back lunges, squats and leg curls using body weight or easy-to-find props, allowing anyone to train like Douglas in the gym. at home or on the road.
