When it comes to fashion and trying different styles, Rihanna is the IT girl. Rih was a very busy gal this past weekend. She was apart of NYFW as a designer debuting her FENTY PUMA collection. Then she headed to LA for the 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year gala honoring Lionel Richie. She was then scheduled to perform at the 2016 Grammys but had to cancel due to her being ill. For the MusiCares event Rihanna rocked a look straight off the runway.

The Bajan beauty was styled in a look from Marc Jacobs‘ Spring/Summer 2016 collection by stylist Mel Ottenberg. Rihanna rocked Look 55 that was modeled on the runway by supermodel Adriana Lima.

The completely sheer dress features a deep v neckline, 3/4 length sleeves, a high slit and red, white and blue daisy embroidery. The red and white sneaker-inspired shoes have a pointed toe and Marc Jacobs branding on the tongue. Check Miley Cyrus out!! Little Miss Twerk-a-lot is the new face of Marc Jacobs’ Spring Collection. That's a good look!! The new campaign comes on the heels of Jacobs putting Cyrus on message tees for skin cancer awareness and gay marriage. In turn, Miley wore a fish net dress by the designer to the 2013 Met Gala and another sea-foam sequins dress that landed her on TIME’s best dressed list.

Marc Jacobs Planning To Launch Make-Up Line!

According to WWD Marc Jacobs has a new beauty project coming soon: color cosmetics. Jacobs, will team up with Sephora to do the line, noted that, while it’s in its early days, he’s pleased to delve into the makeup world. He states;

“Anything to me that is part of the joy, the ritual, of getting dressed — things that women enjoy like bags, shoes, fragrance, clothes, makeup — that’s what fashion’s about for me,”

Jacobs had his first meeting for the color line last week and had this to say about the line “I see makeup, fragrance — everything, really — as an opportunity. The idea of choosing a color for your lip, or an eyeliner — it’s just such a delight. The ritual of waking up and making those choices is something people really enjoy. We currently are working on defining what Marc Jacobs cosmetics will be, what they’ll say, what makes them distinctive. I think that will take some time, but the first meeting was good.” A target launch date has not yet been identified, Jacobs added.
