Taraji P. Henson has been on fire for the last few years and I'm glad to see her achieving her goals as a Black American Actress. On October 11th she will be releasing her first memoir "Around The Way Girl'. Read the overview below.

She shares stories of her father, a Vietnam vet who was bowed but never broken by life's challenges, and of her mother who survived violence both in the home and on DC's volatile streets.
