Jay-Z Shines At Carnegie Hall

Jay-Z continues to make monumental moves as he made history in New York City last night, performing the first of two sold-out shows at Carnegie Hall. I was on twitter losing it as I read the tweets of those who were in attendance. From what I read and the twitpics I saw the show was AMAZING. Stylist June Ambrose had my guy looking SUPER GQ as he sported a white tux for his opening act. With a live orchestra and special guest appearances by Nas and Alicia Keys it’s safe to save Hov rocked Carnegie Hall. Throughout the evening tribute segments to Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel, Gil-Scott Heron, and the NY Giants were played and displayed on the main stage’s backdrop. The night was also a first as Jay-Z performed his first-born dedication, “Glory” was done live. Ticket sales from the Carnegie Hall shows will benefit the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation and the United Way of New York. Head inside to see a few pics and a little footage from the show.

Queen B looked amazing as she attended her husband’s first show at Carnegie Hall to benefit United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. Hips like WOW, breast like BOW. She wore a by Dress: Alice Temperly, Jewels by: Ofira & Lorraine Schwartz, Clutch by: Alexander McQueen and of course Shoes by Christian Louboutin. I love the blue nail color she is rocking. A new song from Nicki Minaj hit the net today. I'm not sure if it will be featured on Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, but for this track instead of "rapping" Minaj attempts to sing. I personally like the "Marilyn Monroe" track by up and coming artist Brianna Perry. Read more to check it out.
