The MET Gala 2017 honored Comme des Garçons Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo, who is considered one of the most important and influential designers of all time.
The theme for this year’s gala was “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between,” focusing on Japanese fashion. Some brought their A game and followed the theme. While others looked as if they decided to stop by while out and about. My girl Rihanna absolutely got it right from head to toe. See more looks inside from other guest that attended the Gala.

This year I said I wanted to display my style a bit more on my site. So here we go! No I am not a stylist, but I have style. I just enjoy looking nice and so Not a label whore ( for now anyway..lol). Recently I went home to Roc, NY and being that I live in ATL I had to dress a bit warmer there. I had a old pair of black jeans from Old Navy from the Rockstar collection that I absolutely LOVE. If you have curves ladies these jeans are perfect and affordable. I wanted to add a little flavor to my jeans and did so by putting a rip in knees of my jeans.

I then wore my ADDICTED T-shirt(available for purchase soon) and wrapped my plaid red/black shirt around my waist. I didn't want to wear all black, so I added a brown cowboy boot to the mix. My make I keep simple and remain true to a red lip.I just like how a red lip turns your sexy on, without wearing super sexy clothing.

I use to be super extra with my accessories, but since I've grown older I go for more simple pieces. But please don't get it twisted I'll still pull out my signature BIG pieces and accessorize my life away! For this look I wore gold small bamboos and a simple necklace.

I found my purse that has fringe tassels on the zipper, at a store called Buffalo Exchange here in Atlanta, Ga. It cost me $16.00 and I received lots of compliments on it. I called this look Born Rebel bcos I am rebel, I do what works for me and it comes out DOPE. lol. I'm sure of my style and rock my clothing with confidence. I hope this look motivated your style. I think the "Blow" tee which features cherries on the sleeves, in a nod to the ~adult~ themes that Beyonce references in the bridge, is rock-able. However The T-shirt for "Drunk in Love" with the tiny fully clothed emoji person surfing on the sleeves, NOT so much!! lol

Kanye's Fiancee Kim Kardashian celebrated her birthday at TAO Nightclub in Vegas in a Dolce & Gabbana White Lace Crop Top and Pencil Skirt: She finished her look with a clutch from the brand and a pair of Tom Ford chain-link ankle strap sandals. I am actually starting to feel her golden locks. Although black is her signature, the blonde isn't that bad!! Her look was simple, looked light but I'm sure the prices were HEAVY!!

Fashion Win or FAIL?: Kim Kardashian’s Pregnancy Style

Kim Kardashian's stylist is wrong for this one. I just want to know why her shirt is soooo tight and her skirt is soooooooooo high!?! It makes her look shorter and her boobs look HUGE! I don't even think its flattering for her legs. The concept is cute but it just didn't work out. She looks so uncomfortable to me. I'm not really feeling her hair either. The bangs are weird with the thin longer pieces on each side; and the bun just looks limp and sad. Y'all know I usually love all the looks I post on here and I really tell the truth about my thoughts on it...not to be negative but to just give my opinion. We can learn from celebrity style do's and don'ts! Lol. This look would probably look great on a very thin tall person...and more importantly a person who is NOT pregnant. This is definitely not a preggers look! So for those who aren't pregnant and love this look, I've created a look for less. And please let me repeat...this is a dope overall outfit but not so much on a pregnant Kim K. Yep, I said it!

Nicki Minaj was spotted leaving her hotel in London rocking denim from head to toe!! Denim on Denim is definitely a go this season and Minaj did it her way! The Hip-POP star sported a denim baseball hat to the back (in a very b-girl way), a jean jacket, a Bedazzled Bra (by 72hourfreek), with acid wash jeans that look painted on, finished off with knee high denim boots!!!
