It seemed as if Kandi was pregnant forever!! But today she became a mom for the second time to a baby boy!!
Kandi Burruss welcomed a son with husband Todd Tucker on Wednesday, Jan. 6, a rep for the couple confirmed to PEOPLE.
“Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect,” Burruss, 39, tells PEOPLE.
Their “bouncing baby boy” arrived at 8:42 a.m., weighing in at 7 lbs., 6 oz.
This is the couple’s first child together. Burruss — who chronicled her struggle to get pregnant with her second child on her Bravo reality series — is also mom to 13-year-old daughter Riley, while Tucker is dad to 19-year-old daughter Kaela.
While it wasn’t easy for Burruss to conceive, her pregnancy was fairly smooth. “No craving or morning sickness thank goodness,” she said. “I’m just tired all of the time.”
And now the proud parents (who were both hoping for a baby boy) couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome their son to the family.
