CANDI COVERAGE: Ladies Who Brunch Atlanta Presents “Ladies Of Business” Conference 2016

Ladies Who Brunch Atlanta Founder’s Bianca Rush and Dayira “Dayybella” Jones totally out did themselves with their very first “Ladies Of Business” Conference. The empowering three day conference took place Friday February 5th – Sunday February 7th 2016 here in Atlanta GA. I had the pleasure of to covering 2 out of 3 days of the event and I was really impressed.

The Ladies of Business Conference started out great!! It was held at Le Fais Do Do in the city of Atlanta. Everything ran smoothly when I arrived. Parking was right on site, and it was a flat fee of $5.00. The PR girls (The Garner Circle PR) greeted media and guest promptly as we entered the ballroom. The first night the Business Bestie Bash went down with female Dj, Dj Penny Lane rocking the crowd as the ladies mingled and made business connections. Although I was media I passed out a few cards and instantly felt even more motivated about my transition as a entrepreneur. Shutter booth Atl was in the building to provide photo booth fun! The founders dayy bella & Bianca chatted & took pictures with the guests.

Once everyone warmed up, the Pitch Please! Competition began at 7pm. This was actually my favorite part of the night. During this activity aspiring and current female Entrepreneurs were able to Pitch their businesses to LWBATL, for the chance to win $500 to go towards their business. The competition was stiff, but congratulations to the Pitch Please Winner Kyla Nicole!

Although I was unable to attend the event on Saturday, February 8th, 2016. Attendees were able to enjoy another fun filled, yet inspiring day. Continental Breakfast was served in the morning followed by: Heart, Body & Soul Morning Motivation
Sponsored by Black Girls Run! Fireside Chats, a variety of small sessions such as;

Power Planning, How to Style Yourself as a Brand: The Essentials, Turning an Online Brand into Offline Dollars: Monetizing an Online Image, Branding 101 Overcoming your fears and living your dreams plus more. The girls even had a Cotton Candy Cocktail Hour, how cool! The night closed with the Keynote Dinner. This year’s keynote was Myleik Teele, founder of Curlbox, who discussed how to truly network and create your value.

Sunday, February 7th, 2016: Signature Brunch

Known for their fabulous brunches LWBATL “Ladies Of Business” three day conference closed with their Signature Brunch. The brilliant panel featured self-made entrepreneurs, Ming Lee (Founder of SnobLife), Toya Wright (Founder of Garb Boutique), Jasmine Lawrence (Founder of EDEN Body Works), Claire Sulmers (Founder of Fashion Bomb Daily), and Miss Diddy (Brand Strategist). Doors Open/Registration opened at 10 am. The guest were able to brunch and mingle from 11 am until 12 pm. The food looked delish and the mimosas were endless.

The founders welcomed the attendees and learned someone came all the way from Alaska to attend the event. The panelists come on around 1 pm and the advice they shared with the ladies had everyone focused. After kicking knowledge and motivating the ladies the floor was opened for Q&A’s. All panelists were very friendly and answered questions passionately.

Over 350 plus attended the event to get inspired, empowered, and uplifted.

Congratulations on the 1st successful 3 day conference ladies! I look forward to attending future events.
