Foxy Brown’s Brother Pretty Boy Gav, Sentenced To Two Years In Prison For Identity Theft

September 29, 2011 |  by  |  Hood Rat Stuff, Thuglife  |  Share

So it appears things won’t be looking so pretty for Foxy Brown’s brother Gavin Marchand aka Pretty Boy Gav! Yesterday he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison following his guilty plea on two counts of first degree identity theft back in August. Damn these Marchands just can’t get right! “Pretty Boy Gav” was convicted of operating a credit card scam when the Brooklyn native purchased $8,000 from an Hermes store on Madison Ave in New York City. Yikes. Now if only foxy would get back to making music lil bro wouldn’t have to resort to this. SMH!

Gav was spotted by an undercover agent after he attempted to flee the store then led police on a breif police chase before the group were eventually arrested. The case also clears up charges where Marchand was accused of racking up a tab in the range of thousands of dollars at a New York City nightclub.

During his sentence Gavin sat silently and didn’t say a word when asked if he wanted to speak. According to sources Marchand will begin serving his sentence immediately.

The 36 year old rapper made a name for himself as the sidkick to Fox then later as an original member of the Fox 5 group, that also included his younger sister. Similar to his sibling, Foxy has also witnessed her fair share of legal issues where at one point the rap diva spent one year incarcerated on New York City’s infamous Rikers Island.

The District Attorney handling the case against Gavin expressed the seriousness of the crime and others similar to it. “These criminal operations hurt consumers and businesses, and threaten the security of financial transactions” Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance told The New York Post.

He needs to change his name before heading to D-block. Calling yaself “Pretty Boy” will immediately turn you into someone’s wifey in prison B.

In an exclusive interview with Billboard, T.I. says he's ready to get started on "Dope Boy Academy" which I am assuming would be the title of the album. This year duet albums were the way to go. We had 21 Savage & Offset and as of recent Fabolous and Jadakiss released their highlyanticipated project.
