[COVERGIRL] Nicki Minaj The Face of Cosmopolitan November Issue

Animated rapper Nicki Minaj graces the cover of Cosmopolitan for the November issue. This is the Nicki I prefer, but if this was the Nicki we saw on the regular she would be just another female rapper. Inside the issue she talks about having suicidal thoughts before her big break into the industry. See Below

On Suicidal Thoughts:

“It was one dead-end after another, she says. “At one point, I was like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt – like maybe I should just take my life.”

The tagline on the cover “How She Beat The Odds And Learned To Rule The World” comes from a goal she set at an early age.

“I would pray to God to make me famous, so I could buy my mother a huge house,” she reveals.

And if you are over Nicki and wish she would go away. You may have to wish harder because has zero plans to leave the game any time soon. In five to ten years she hopes to go further,

“I’ll have hundreds of millions of dollars. I will have put out five albums and will have an Oscar and Grammys. And I will be getting married and, a couple of years after that, [I] will have a bun in the oven.”

Minaj is the second black woman to grace the front cover in three years. Rihanna appeared on the july 2011 and March 2008 issues.
