Meet Spoc Jenkins.A well-groomed gentleman from Upstate New York, my best friend to be exact. When I first saw him back in 2004 I just knew he was a NBA player. However that surely wasn’t the case being as though we were in a training class for Verizon Wireless. LOL. Nonetheless Spoc is a huge advocate of the Jordan brand. No, like really! It’s deeper than just standing on long lines, copping them before a release date or tattooing the Jordan sign on his chest. The Air Jordan’s are apart of his history. His name is Spoc Jenkins and this is HIStory. “It was May 1995 in Rochester, NY. The Great Michael Jordan had recently unretired by sending in a one page fax to (NBA Commissioner) David Stern stating simply, “I’m Back.” In the playoffs that same year Jordan debuted his 11th shoe (Concords) in a series against the Orlando Magic w/ the number 45 on the back replacing his previous one, “23.” Jordan and the Bulls would go on to lose the series to “Penny” Hardaway, (a young) Shaq, and the Magic in 6 games.
