Everyone knows when you hit South Beach you must hit up club LIV on Sunday night. With it being New Year's Day that night I know it was going down. Industry elite including Diddy, Rick Ross, Rihanna, Fabolous, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Meek Mill, Red Café, and Flo Rida came out to celebrate. Also included were Lil Wayne and DMX *Sigh* I just feel like people aren’t laughing and being happy WITH X, but more of laughing at X because he is crazy. When I see old-school artist that were once at the TOP of the game, but are still trying to put out a sound to show “I still got it", I think of Eddie Murphy's character Jimmy Early from the movie Dream Girls or Eddie Kane from Five Heart beats. I just hope X can get himself cleaned up and be in the news for more positive than negative things for 2012 and beyond. Check out the video above of Weezy showing X love.

LeBron James turned 27 on Friday (Dec 30th) and celebrated his birthday with a victory against the Timberwolves. While on twitter tonight (Jan 1st) I saw 106 and Park's vj Rocsi Diaz congratulate Savannah on her engagement to King James. I then went to Savannah's (@SavannahRB) mentions and it was flooded with congrats and well wishes. I haven't seen anything on google confirming the tweets. But usually twitter is the first place to find out the Tea (news) before news outlets. Congrats to the lovely couple if the news is true.

Rumors are swirling that Beyonce and Jay-Z could already be new parents by now, and while no one from either of their camps has confirmed the news, the net has already named their child Tiana May Carter. *side eye* Anyway, on 12/28 ten of Beyonce's favorite songs from 2011 were posted on her official website. Our fav’s of 2011 are pretty similar. I know Future and Big Sean were smiling like awwww, being that their hit singles ( "Tony Montana" and "Dance (A$$)) made Mrs. Carter’s list. Nicki Minaj stated in her song "Fly" ft Rihanna "I came to win, to fight, to conquer, to thrive, I came to win, to survive, to prosper, to rise To fly" and homegirl is doing that and more. Nicki’s debut album “Pink Friday” is officially double platinum. Now will her sophomore album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” dropping on Valentines Day be able to achieve or exceed the same success? We shall see!!! Congrats to Nicki Minaj!!!
Meet Spoc Jenkins.A well-groomed gentleman from Upstate New York, my best friend to be exact. When I first saw him back in 2004 I just knew he was a NBA player. However that surely wasn't the case being as though we were in a training class for Verizon Wireless. LOL. Nonetheless Spoc is a huge advocate of the Jordan brand. No, like really! It's deeper than just standing on long lines, copping them before a release date or tattooing the Jordan sign on his chest. The Air Jordan’s are apart of his history. His name is Spoc Jenkins and this is HIStory. "It was May 1995 in Rochester, NY. The Great Michael Jordan had recently unretired by sending in a one page fax to (NBA Commissioner) David Stern stating simply, "I'm Back." In the playoffs that same year Jordan debuted his 11th shoe (Concords) in a series against the Orlando Magic w/ the number 45 on the back replacing his previous one, "23." Jordan and the Bulls would go on to lose the series to "Penny" Hardaway, (a young) Shaq, and the Magic in 6 games. For the first time since 1990 (versus the Detroit Pistons) in the Playoffs Michael seemed, human." Head inside to read more and grab a Kleenex.
