Although Nicki Minaj has the rap game in a head lock and representing for the femcess. There are many female rappers that feel they still have a chance to shine in this game too. Yes its money out here for all artist but the way the industry is set up. There is only room for ONE female artist at a time. SMH. But maybe the universe will shift and welcome these newbies (not including Diamond she's been in the game for a min now) with open arms.

According to report, the series, from 51 Minds, showcases “femcees” Bia, Brianna Perry, Diamond, Nyemiah Supreme and Siya as they attempt to make their mark on a music genre traditionally dominated by men and are discovered and mentored by hip hop artists. The show’s eight-episode run, which begins Aug. 12, will also include appearances by Eve, Pharrell, Lil Jon, Travie McCoy, Rick Ross, Tank and Irv Gotti.

“Sisterhood of Hip Hop” is exec produced by Grammy-winning recording artist T.I., along with Christian Sarabia, Rabih Gholam and Roy Orecchio.

Oxygen will air a preview special on July 22 to introduce the five women before the Aug. 12 series premiere.

Welp! Onicka sure know's how to get the people talking!! Yesterday the Hip-POP queen dropped a new track and video titled 'Lookin Ass Ni**a'. The net went crazy!! The bars were everything..her look was on POINT and we LOVED IT!! Today Nicki Minaj took to her Instagram @NickiMinaj to address the critics that weren't too pleased with the use of the N word being used so heavily, and then having the nerve to use Malcolm X on the cover of the single. People are sooooo dramatic! Everyone knows Malcolm X was on the "by any means necessary" flow heavy...but being that it's BHM our people are feeling some kind of way. Nicki had this to say below;

Earlier this week Nicki Minaj had the net buzzin after posting BTS images on her IG. She returned to her dark hair and was stylin' on them hoes!! Today she released a visual for a new track 'Lookin Ass Nigga' off the upcoming Young Money album "Rise Of An Empire". The video was Directed by NABIL. I'm feeling the track! Minaj is serving the old Nicki Bars and I LOVE IT!! She also announced that her next album will be titled "The Pink Print". Ya'll ready?
