CANDI COVERAGE: Melody Ehsani x Reebok Classic Exclusive Launch Event At Epitome

    Sunday September 21st, 2014: Atlanta, GA

    The Melody Ehsani x Rebook Classic event at Epitome was a blast!!! The designer herself, Melody Ehsani was in the building and she was super cool. The crowd was chill and Dj Martina Mcfly was on the 1’s & 2’S getting the party rocking as usual. M.E brought out many dope individuals to her event. Prince (Marketing) from Rocksmith, Fashion stylist Renaldo Nehemiah,and evenMTV Africa was in mix.

    I spotted different heat on many of the sneaker heads feet, from FILA, to high end kicks like Balenciaga. However REEBOK CLASSICS were definitely the stand out shoe. From Retros to new releases. I even rocked my 5411 starbust yellow joints. I’ve had them since 2003. Many inquired on where to purchase like a true sneaker head. I smiled and said “oh I’ve had these since 03, these are retro baby.” Lol. The event was filled with good energy and the Reebok Account rep’s were in attendance to make sure the brand was being represented properly.

Reebok Rep’s GMack & Kristen.

The guest shopped while sipping on mimosa, ladies received manicures, and M.E walked around engaging with guest & signed kicks! At the last event (PUMA) I won a free pair of kicks, at this event I wasn’t as lucky. The winners of the raffle received a gift bag filled with goodies from Melody Ehsani. I left with a pair of the HI Hidden Wedge designed by Melody Ehsani and a delicious Turtle Crepes that was being served by the The French truck outside out the event. The owners of Epitome are super cool. Mark and Martina thanks again for having me. I look forward to future launch parties. Be sure to visit Epitome for dope kicks and accessories 252 Pharr Road NE. Atlanta, GA 30305. Tell them Candi sent you.

More On The designer

Melody Ehsani can be described in one word DOPETASTIC ! Dopetastic is a combo word I use when something is fantastically DOPE on all levels. Melody Ehsani designs and creates trendsetting jewelry, footwear and accessories for many of your favorite celebrity’s and tv shows. For the last couple of years M.E has released fly kick collaborations with Reebok Classic. Her most recent design is “The Constellation Pack”. She step’s her game up and give’s her fans not one but TWO sneakers to choose from. The Freestyle Hi Hidden Wedge Sneaker & the Leather Platform Midsole Sneaker. I personally like the 54.11’s (NY slang) instead of the double sole.

The Constellation Pack is inspired by the beautiful and unique patterns of the 12 zodiac constellations and star groups. For Melody, the navigational use of the night sky sparked the idea of finding your own path; despite having your feet on the ground, looking up into the endless, unknown universe will guide your every step. Although the stars in any given constellation may look like they’re neighbors, they can actually be many light-years apart; and if seen from another part of the galaxy they would form different groups and shapes altogether. Perspective is everything. Standout, neon details that come to life at night are applied to Reebok Classic’s iconic Classic Leather and Freestyle create designs that are unapologetic, special and multi-dimensional, just like the women who wear them.

If you’re feeling the kicks head over to to cop! Price $150 fits true to size.

Please ladies do NOT head to your local braider requesting this style. Being that 1) its a wig and 2) we don't want to see you in a local Walmart, dragging these inches almost tripping while trying to strut....GIRL!! Anyway! “MotorSport” is the lead single off Migos’ upcoming album Culture II, due in January. Check the video out below.

    The Kang of the south and the Snowman may link up and give us a duet album very soon!! I'm here for this!! They both make trap music but with different deliveries which can result into hotness.
    In an exclusive interview with Billboard, T.I. says he's ready to get started on "Dope Boy Academy" which I am assuming would be the title of the album. This year duet albums were the way to go. We had 21 Savage & Offset and as of recent Fabolous and Jadakiss released their highlyanticipated project.

JAY Z Opens Up About The Complicated Relationship With Kanye West: “Certain Things” Happened That Are Unacceptable.

    Hip-Hop Mogul JAY Z had an interview with Dean Baquet for T Magazine, where he discussed being black in Trump's America, therapy, his relationships with wife Beyoncé and former friend Kanye West.
    It's no secret that Ye and Jay are no longer on the best of terms. However in this interview Jay elaborated on the complicated relationship;
    "Hopefully when we're 89 we look at this six months or whatever time and we laugh at that. You know what I'm saying? There's gonna be complications in the relationship that we have to get through. And the only way to get through that is we sit down and have a dialogue and say, 'These are the things that I'm uncomfortable with. These are the things that are unacceptable to me. This is what I feel.' I'm sure he feels that I've done things to him as well,"
