The wait is over!!! The collection dubbed Dw is in honor of Ye’s late mother Dr. Donde West and was presented during Paris Fashion Week. Although the collection received mixed reviews I was pleased with the collection being that he is a first time designer. But of course the gurus in fashion had much to say. Hey you can’t please everyone and I am sure if Ye wasn’t pleased with the pieces he would not have allowed them to be viewed by the public. Many notable big names were in attendance--Anna Wintour, Alexander Wang, Dean and Dan Caton of Dsquared, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Lindsay Lohan, Jared Leto and Ciara. Last night in ATL Young Jeezy celebrated his 34th birthday with a private dinner event. The dinner which was sponsored by Ciroc and Red Bull took place at V-103’s morning show host Frank Ski new spot. Celebrity guest included Ludacris, Ne-Yo , Jermaine Dupri and Brian Michael Cox. So it appears things won’t be looking so pretty for Foxy Brown’s brother Gavin Marchand aka Pretty Boy Gav! Yesterday he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison following his guilty plea on two counts of first degree identity theft back in August. Damn these Marchands just can’t get right! "Pretty Boy Gav" was convicted of operating a credit card scam when the Brooklyn native purchased $8,000 from an Hermes store on Madison Ave in New York City. Yikes.
