Nia Long and Ime Udoka (father) welcomed son Kez Sunday Udoka on Monday, Nov. 7, her rep confirms to the Associated Press. “Both mother and child are healthy and happy to be home,” spokeswoman Priscilla Moralez says.The Soul Food and Love Jones star also has a 10-year-old son, Massai, from a previous marriage.Long and Udoka, a professional basketball player, announced the pregnancy in June. Congrats!

Heavy D, the former leader of the hip-hop group Heavy D and the Boyz, has died at the age of 44. The rapper was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles earlier this afternoon and was pronounced dead at 1 p.m. PT. Police are investigating his death but there are no signs of foul play. That's crazy because he was just performing like the old heavy on BET's Hip-Hop Awards last month. Rest In Peace Heavy.
