On Thursday February 19th,2015 American Apparel once again fired Iris Alonzo. The creative director, who worked under founder Dov Charney for more than a decade and has openly supported him in the press, was originally dismissed in the summer of 2014, only to be rehired in October of that year. Its also being reported that Marsha Brady, American Apparel's other longtime creative director, has also been fired. Click HERE to read the full story.

Last night BET's annual "BET Honors" gala aired on BET. The show celebrates and acknowledges the achievements of African American. This year the show honored Usher, Microsoft chairman John Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, National Museum of African Art director Johnnetta B. Cole, and Kanye West.

Kanye West was presented with the Visionary Award. Damon Dash was one of the men that put Ye on and Dame introduced West with a heartfelt speech. Many people felt Yeezy speech was all over the place. Back in November Lil Wayne and his baby mother Toya Wright went ALL OUT for their baby girl; Reginae Carter. Not only did she do multiple outfit changes which were all on point. She was gifted TWO luxury cars from the rents!! Pictures of the lavish event hit social media and we all wished we received an invite. lol. But I am super excited to learn the big bash was being tapped for MTV'S 'My Super Sweet 16'. I am so happy to see that show back on the air.
